Виталий «Вит» Демиденко: «К хардкор-группе Comeback Kid у нас в LOUNA особое отношение. Несмотря на то, что далеко не все участники группы фэнят творчество этих канадских музыкантов, они, наряду с их земляками Billy Talent, тем не менее, являются для нас ментальными бро и вдохновителями довольно многих идей наших риффов, ритмов и музыкальных аранжировок. В качестве ярких примеров можно сходу вспомнить такие песни, как «Весна» и куплеты «1.9.8.4.», да и футболка гитариста Рубена на одной из студийных фотосессий, которая представляет нас на Википедии, говорит сама за себя. Одним словом, они — одни из основных инфлюэнсеров нашего собственного творчества практически с самого основания LOUNA в части хардкорного драйва.
Несмотря на то, что на заре становления нашего коллектива в конце 00-х—начале 10-х мы создавали и исполняли кавер-версии песен таких знаковых для нас западных групп, как Nirvana, System of a Down, Scars on Broadway, Bad Religion, Motorhead и Beastie Boys, на территорию хардкора мы не заходили. А потом и своих песен стало столько, что каверы надолго остались в прошлом. Но однажды переслушивая наследие любимых Comeback Kid, я, как говорится, «свежим ухом» зацепил и отметил, пожалуй, один из самых мелодичных треков этой группы под названием «Get Alone», который удивительным образом показался мне созвучным творчеству LOUNA ранних лет.
Мне показалось, что певческий талант Лу может вытянуть из эмоционального скрим-вокала их фронтмена ту надрывную мелодическую составляющую, что я услышал в нем (делать кавер «в ноль» с экстрим-вокалом Лу, в котором она безусловно сильна, было бы предсказуемо и не так интересно). А для усиления восприятия нашими слушателями англоязычной лирики я осмелился написать его литературную русскоязычную версию, максимально приближенную по смыслу к оригиналу, и, вместе с тем, полностью сохранившую не только размер и ритмику текста, но и во многом его фонетические особенности. Как мне кажется, этот довольно дерзкий эксперимент удался на все 100, и получившаяся версия песни достойна внимания и собственной жизни.
Мы с удовольствием записали ее в студии и с не меньшим удовольствием будем рады исполнять ее вживую на концертах. Очень надеюсь, что наши слушатели оценят эту композицию по достоинству, и она займет свое место в наших концертных трек-листах.»

LOUNA present their new video for the song «Naprolom» (Breaking Through), which is a cover song of «Get Alone» by Comeback Kid.
Vitaly «Vit» Demidenko, the bass guitarist of the band and author of the lyrics: «Our band has special feelings about the hardcore band Comeback Kid. Although not all members of LOUNA are fans of the Canadian quintet, we consider them and Billy Talent, their countrymen, to be our bros in music and they have really inspired our writing. As an example, we can immediately name songs of ours such as «Spring» and the verses of «1.9.8.4.». Also, the t-shirt that our ex-guitarist Rouben wore on the photo which represents us on Russian page on Wikipedia, speaks for itself. In other words, they are one of the main influencers of our own work since the beginning of LOUNA when it comes to hardcore drive and vibes.
Despite the fact that in the early days of LOUNA (in the late 00s-early 10s), we created and performed covers of iconic international bands such as Nirvana, System of a Down, Scars on Broadway, Bad Religion, Motorhead and Beastie Boys, we didn’t enter the territory of hardcore. Then we wrote a lot of our own songs so the covers were put in the past for a long time.
So recently, listening to the legacy of my favorite Comeback Kid, I, as they say, «listened with a fresh ear» and took note of, perhaps, one of the most melodic tracks of the band called «Get Alone», which seemed to me to be in tune with LOUNA’s early works in a special way.
I had a thought that Lou’s vocal abilities could specifically extract, accentuate, and deliver the heartbreaking, melodic ambiance that I heard in the emotional screams of their frontman (to cover the song closely to the original with Lou’s extreme vocals, which she could undeniably do, would be predictable and not as interesting). Also, in order to enhance the perception of English-language lyrics by our listeners, I dared to write a Russian-language version of it, as close to the original meaning as possible, and, at the same time, completely saved not only the length and rhythm of the text, but also, in many respects, its phonetic features.
To my own ears, it seems that this rather daring experiment was 100% successful, and the resulting version of the song is worthy of attention and its own life.
We recorded it in the studio with great pleasure and, with no less pleasure, we’ll be happy to perform it live at our shows. I really hope that our listeners will appreciate the song and that it will find its place in our concert setlists.»
